Volunteering

How to become a volunteer
& help look after the trails

As a community based trail area, we’ll be running volunteer trail maintenance sessions, which mean you can get involved in looking after the trails you ride and enjoy. These sessions will be published on this page and each session will have a specific purpose. Taking part in these sessions will let you get hands on with the maintenance and evolution of the trail area and as we progress, get involved in the build of future phases. We will provide tools and high vis vests for these sessions, all we ask is you turn up in appropriate clothing for the weather and footwear and with a pair of gloves to protect your hands.

During theses sessions we’ll teach essential best practice trail build techniques, so you’ll be able to develop your own trail building skills and understanding of what makes safe and sustainable trail.

If you’d like to take part in volunteer sessions, you’ll need to be join Bikepark Chilterns as a community member. Once you’ve joined you’ll be able to sign up for the volunteer sessions as they’re released.
