With Whippy Trails now fully up and running, we’re going to be running regular coaching sessions in partnership with Firecrest MTB. You’ll be able to find links to group courses and request individual or private group sessions via this page. 

This is an exciting step for Whippy Trails and the future of skills progression within a short ride from the doorstep of our local users.

DeVo Level 1

This Courses are ideal for begginer to intermediate Mountain Bikers aged from 8 years to 12 years old looking to develop their Mountain Bike Skills. We will be training on Whippy Trails in Whippendell Woods, Watford under the watchful eye of Firecrest MTB’s highly experienced coaching staff. The Whippy Trails offer something for everyone with a range of graded mountain bike trails. We'll meet in the car park at for a 10.00am start. NB: This course requires participants to have and wear their own helmets with gloves and knee pads as a minimum level of protection.

DeVo EVO / Level 2

Firecrest MTB's February Half Term DeVo at Whippy Trails, Watford Tuesday 17th February 1pm - 4pm Course Details DeVo Evo/Level 2 Courses are for riders from 11 years to 16 years old. We will training on Whippy Trails, Whippendell Woods, Watford under the watchful eye of Firecrest MTB’s highly experienced coaching staff. Whippy Trails offer something for everyone with a two graded mountain bike trails. We'll meet in the Grove Road car park at for a 1pm start. NB: This course requires participants to have and wear their own helmets with gloves and knee pads as a minimum level of protection.

One to one

Book now
Booking a 1-2-1 course is easy, choose slot on our Timetable of courses. We can cover everything from Jumps and Drops, Downhill, Enduro, Cross-Country, Corners, Technical Singletrack etc for e-bike riders from beginners through to experienced riders. If you’d like to add more participants that’s great, please contact us when you book and they can easily be added when we confirm your course. You can add up to 6 people at £25.00pp on a 3hr course. Alternatively if you are looking to book a larger group course contact us and we’ll be in touch to tailor a course to your group.

The Firecrest Mountain Biking Rider Development Programme (RDP) mountain bike skills training at Whippy Trails, Whippy Trails, Watford. The Firecrest Mountain Biking Rider Development Programme (RDP) known as Adult DeVo for short is your chance to join a group skills course for riders aged 18 years and over focussed on mountain bike skills development using Whippy Trails in Whippendell Woods, Watford. NB: This course requires participants to have and wear their own helmets with gloves and knee pads.
